Alternative payment assistance for travel platforms
RaPAY helps online travel platforms complete orders from Russian-speaking and CIS customers who cannot use standard international cards. Start with a low-risk manual pilot, then automate only after the numbers are proven.
Company background
RA works with practical business cases where customers need reliable payment support, clear confirmations, and human assistance when standard online flows do not work.
Payment support, merchant operations, balances, and service workflows for shops and distributed points.
Assisted payments for time-sensitive bookings, local providers, and Russian-speaking customers abroad.
Bus, ferry, transfer, and route-based services where failed checkout means an immediately lost sale.
Prepayments, deposits, appointment confirmations, and support-heavy customer communication.
Operational proof
The first pilot can stay manual, but the operating model is prepared for scale: status tracking, order confirmation, refund handling, partner reporting, and future API integration.
Global market context
International travel demand from Russian-speaking and CIS customers remains meaningful across Asia, the Middle East, the Caucasus, and selected European routes. At the same time, card-network restrictions, bank limitations, and local checkout rules often create friction at the final payment step.
The problem
Travel platforms already attract demand from CIS customers. The friction appears at the final step: cards are declined, local payment options are unavailable, and support teams do not have a simple route to save the booking.
RaPAY offers a separate assistance flow for these cases, so the platform can recover otherwise lost revenue without rebuilding its checkout.
This is especially relevant for travel, transfers, hotels, excursions, medical services, and other categories where customers need confirmation quickly and are willing to use an assisted payment route.
How it works
Your support team or checkout page sends the customer to a RaPAY payment request page.
RaPAY verifies the order details and helps the customer complete payment in Russian or English.
After payment, RaPAY confirms the order details with your team using the agreed channel.
Your platform issues the booking, the customer receives confirmation, and commissions are reconciled.
Technology
A partner can send the customer to a dedicated RaPAY terminal with order amount and currency already filled in. The customer only confirms personal details and completes payment.
Example: /boonsiri?amount=12500¤cy=THB&order=BK-10482. Amount, currency, and customer fields can be passed from the partner order.
During the pilot, confirmations can be manual. After validation, order status, payment result, refunds, and reconciliation can move through API or scheduled exports.
Partners can receive a dashboard with transactions, statuses, daily turnover, customer references, downloadable reports, and support notes.
Partner workspace
The cabinet can show assisted orders, paid and pending transactions, booking references, customer contacts, refunds, partner commission, and reconciliation files.
Pilot proposal
The first pilot should be intentionally small: enough real orders to test customer demand, operational workload, refund scenarios, and partner economics.
Draft commercial terms
Final fee is agreed per partner. The default pilot model is customer-paid or shared commission on successful transactions.
Refund rules follow the travel provider policy. Currency differences and processing fees must be defined before launch.
RaPAY handles customer payment communication. The platform keeps responsibility for ticket, booking, and service fulfillment.
